A bright, refreshing, and effortlessly elegant cocktail that comes together in five minutes with limoncello, prosecco, and soda water. Perfect for celebrating New Year’s Eve or any festive gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ounces limoncello (chilled)
  • 3 ounces prosecco (chilled)
  • 1 ounce soda water (chilled)
  • Ice cubes
  • 1 lemon wheel or twist (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Chill your glass in the freezer for 10-15 minutes, or fill with ice water while you prep, then dump it out.
  2. Fill the chilled glass about halfway with ice cubes (3-4 large cubes).
  3. Pour 2 ounces of chilled limoncello over the ice.
  4. Slowly pour 3 ounces of chilled prosecco down the side of the glass to preserve bubbles.
  5. Gently add 1 ounce of chilled soda water.
  6. Stir gently once or twice with a bar spoon to combine without losing carbonation.
  7. Garnish with a lemon wheel (twist to release oils) and serve immediately.

Notes

For best results, ensure all ingredients are well-chilled. Use large ice cubes to slow dilution. For a pitcher version (serves 8-10): combine 1 ½ cups limoncello, 1 bottle prosecco (750 ml), and ¾ cup soda water; stir gently and add ice and lemon slices just before serving. Variations include adding fresh berries, herbs, blood orange, or a spicy kick.
