A quick and easy copycat recipe for iced pumpkin cream coffee that comes together in about five minutes. Creamy, spiced just right, and made with simple ingredients.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons (30 g) pumpkin puree
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 cup (240 ml) strong brewed coffee (cold brew or espresso recommended)
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Brew your coffee (2 minutes). Make 1 cup of strong coffee using your preferred method. Let it cool slightly while you prepare the cream.
  2. Combine the pumpkin cream ingredients (30 seconds). In your blender, add the heavy cream, pumpkin puree, maple syrup, vanilla extract, pumpkin pie spice, and a pinch of salt.
  3. Blend until smooth (20 seconds). Pulse the blender a few times, then blend on low speed for about 15 seconds. The mixture should be smooth, creamy, and a pale orange color.
  4. Fill your glass with ice (10 seconds). Use large ice cubes if you have them.
  5. Pour the coffee over the ice (10 seconds). Slowly pour your brewed coffee over the ice, filling the glass about three-quarters full.
  6. Top with the pumpkin cream (10 seconds). Gently pour the pumpkin cream over the back of a spoon held just above the coffee to create a layered effect.
  7. Stir and enjoy (5 seconds). Give it a gentle stir to combine the flavors, or leave it layered for a dramatic presentation.

Notes

Taste the cream before pouring over coffee; it should be slightly sweeter than you think because the coffee will balance it. Don’t skip the pinch of salt. If your coffee is too hot, it will melt the ice and break down the cream layer. The pumpkin cream can be stored in the fridge for up to three days.
