These Easy Turkey Cheddar Pinwheel Wraps are a quick, fun, and delicious lunchbox solution that stays fresh and never gets soggy. Made with simple ingredients like tortillas, turkey, cheddar, and a creamy spread, they’re perfect for school, work, or picnics.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 large flour tortillas (10-inch)
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup ranch dressing
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 12 slices deli turkey breast
  • 8 slices sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded lettuce (optional)
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. In a small mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, ranch dressing, garlic powder, and black pepper. Stir until smooth and well combined. Taste and add a pinch of salt if desired. Set aside.
  2. Lay one flour tortilla flat on a cutting board. If the tortilla seems stiff, microwave it for about 10 seconds to make it more pliable.
  3. Using a rubber spatula, spread an even layer of the cream cheese mixture over the entire surface of the tortilla, leaving about a half-inch border around the edges.
  4. Place 3 slices of turkey flat on the cream cheese layer, overlapping them slightly to cover the tortilla.
  5. Lay 2 slices of sharp cheddar on top of the turkey, tearing them to fit if needed. If using shredded lettuce, sprinkle it evenly over the cheese now.
  6. Starting from one edge, carefully roll the tortilla as tightly as you can without tearing it, using your fingers to tuck the filling in as you go.
  7. Once the tortilla is fully rolled, wrap it tightly in plastic wrap or parchment paper, twisting the ends like a candy wrapper to secure it. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  8. After chilling, unwrap the roll and place it on a cutting board. Using a sharp knife, slice the roll into 1-inch rounds using a gentle sawing motion. You should get about 8 to 10 pinwheels per tortilla.
  9. Arrange the pinwheels in an airtight container or on a plate. Serve immediately or pack for later.

Notes

Don’t skip the chilling step—it helps the cream cheese firm up for cleaner slices. Use room-temperature cream cheese for easy spreading. A serrated knife works best for slicing without squishing the layers. For gluten-free, use large gluten-free tortillas; for low-carb, use large lettuce leaves.
