A quick and easy patriotic parfait bar featuring layers of creamy Greek and vanilla yogurt, fresh berries, crunchy granola, and optional nuts and honey. Perfect for summer celebrations and simple wholesome snacks.

  • 2 cups plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup vanilla yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons honey (optional)
  • 1 cup strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 1 cup raspberries (optional)
  • 1 ½ cups granola
  • ½ cup chopped nuts (almonds or pecans, optional)
  • Shredded coconut (optional)
  • Fresh mint leaves (optional)

Instructions

  1. Mix Your Yogurt Base: In a large bowl, combine 2 cups of plain Greek yogurt with 1 cup of vanilla yogurt. Stir in 2 tablespoons of honey if desired. If too thick, add a splash of milk to loosen.
  2. Prepare the Fresh Fruit: Rinse berries gently under cold water. Hull and slice strawberries. Drain blueberries and raspberries on paper towels to remove excess moisture.
  3. Lay Out the Parfait Bar: Arrange the yogurt mixture in a large serving bowl or multiple smaller bowls. Place bowls of strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, granola, chopped nuts, shredded coconut, and mint leaves nearby for self-serving.
  4. Assemble the Parfaits: Spoon a layer of yogurt into a glass or bowl, add a sprinkle of granola and some berries. Repeat layers until full, finishing with berries and nuts on top.
  5. Serve and Enjoy: Serve immediately for best texture or chill up to one hour. Keep granola separate until serving to maintain crunch.

Notes

Do not mix granola with yogurt too early to keep it crunchy. Use ripe but firm berries to avoid sogginess. Keep parfaits chilled and add granola just before serving. For dairy-free, swap Greek yogurt with coconut yogurt and use nut-based granola.
